“I am proud to be a fifth-generation Nevadan and Boulder City High graduate. After high school I attended college in California, graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 1990 with Degrees in History and Anthropology. I continued my education and graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Golden Gate University in San Francisco in 1993. With my Doctor of Jurisprudence in hand, I came “home” to Nevada and have been in private practice in the Las Vegas Valley, since passing the Nevada State Bar in 1993. I practice primarily in Divorce, Family Law, Criminal Defense, Juvenile Abuse/Neglect and Personal Injury. I am passionate about protecting the rights of those who live and visit Nevada. I have received awards from Clark County Pro Bono Project, Clark County Legal Services Program, United States Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and the Office of the Governor with regards to my legal services." In May 2010, I taught a CLE Seminar for the Clark County Bar Association titled Juvenile Law, Overview and Updates.

Kathy Gentry
Kathy is our firm administrator as well as our paralegal. She has been
with Chris for since 1998. She currently handles administrative
duties as
well as handles all Family
Law matters. She has extensive knowledge and experience having spent
over 30 years in
Family
Law. Kathy has patience and empathy for clients who are going
through the difficulties of
Divorce and
custody issues. She truly loves helping people during what can be a very
difficult time in their lives. Kathy is the backbone of the firm and is
happy to share information with attorneys who call for advice or forms.

Christie Fivella
Christie, a Legal Assistant, has been with the office since 2013. Having spent many years in the medical field, her
expertise is extremely beneficial in handling all of our abuse/neglect cases (CPS)
and assisting with
Personal
Injury cases. Christie also manages our
Criminal
Defense cases. Her dedication to these
important areas of our practice, combined with her excellent customer
service skills, is an unbeatable combination. She can deal with indigent
and emotional clients with the dignity and respect which they deserve.

Laureen Johnson
Laureen is our part-time Legal Assistant and has been with us since
2013. She specializes in Customer Service and Records Retention
including keeping track of potential, current and past clients using
Excel spreadsheets that she created. Laureen is an Assistant to Kathy.
She also handles our
Personal
Injury cases, including referrals to doctors, billing, coordinating
with insurance companies, and settlements, constantly keeping our
clients in the loop to ease their apprehension during their case. She
assists in marketing and website updates on Avvo and our own website.
